I think I saw 17 shows in 1997.
Used to go a lot too. Haven't been since '06 Radio City Music Hall.
Haven't ever been the same since Houser died though.

I was part of the ownership group for Bronco Bowl and was there so many times during that period in the 90's....the acoustics were so damn good there.....the best around. Garbage and Big Head Todd were my favs...

Done deal, "next week"
I am enjoying the Kynd melt down, he is trying to rationalize all this on a message board. Panic 2011 is terrible. Bronco Bowl was an awesome venue.
SMT won't ever give it a rest. Sky is falling!

The contract stuff is just a bunch of different parties negotiating for a bigger chunk of the pie. All of that will get worked out sooner or later.
If the Big 12 is talking to BYU or Air Force, it means they haven't been able to resolve the West Virginia situation. Which means West Virginia will stay in the Big East and one of BYU or Air Force will come along. Or WV goes to teh big 12, which then don't need AF or BYU, so those teams move in.
The big east taking both BYU and AF negates the Navy situation.
The only disaster scenario out there would be if the Big 12 decided to go to 12 teams, and tried to take WV, AF, BYU, and another team currently headed to the big east. That would kill the big east deal.

They already have Big East basketball. ESPN/ABC offered to extend their contract with the Big East for football, and BE turned them down. BE figured they could hold out for more money, ESPN retaliated by brokering the departure of Pitt and Syracuse to the ACC, a conference that ESPN has an exclusive deal with. ESPN wants the Big East to fall apart, as a football league. They dont want to have to up their original offer, or get into a bidding war with NBC, which is making a push to get into college football beyond their deal with Notre Dame. If NBC does get the BE, then ESPN wants that property to be as weak as possible.
