Good for you and of course we have made headway in some places...but the key point WAS 'as a whole'. There are always exceptions, but if you think about it we are just guys talking, and voicing our opinions about the SMU program, and SMU coaches could give a crap about what we say here.

June, act like a grown up and install the Kaiser at the helm of the offense.

You are a clown. How do you like that? What did I just accomplish? Nothing. Made myself look small.

so, if it's 'as a whole' those ACTUAL contributions aren't offset by a bunch of internet whining, so 'as a whole' yes, this site does do things.
do the coaches sit around and read this garbage? not a chance.

The Houston Interception on the goal line was one incredible play and if the guy hadn't jumped 100 feet in the air and plucked it out with one hand and secured it, it was a touchdown. Maybe it should have been thrown harder, but it had to be catchable by our receiver. That one was a great play and rather than blaming McD, credit should go to that linebacker who made a great play. 9-10 times that's a touchdown.

Nicely said Topper. You can see from the responses who have played or understand the game enough to know what the problems are. I am personally getting tired of reading ponyfans because of all the crap from spoiled, ignorant and pompass people that don't seem to have a clue and it is evident in their post.

These players are getting free rides to SMU. This is from our donations to the school. So I'm more than happy to criticize them if they aren't giving us an adequate performance. SMU's athletes are a bunch of lazy under-performers.

Calling name-callers out by calling names? People are just frustrated that our sideline could put an eight year old who just chugged a litre of Coca-Cola to sleep, as we should be. The name-calling should be thrown out entirely but I don't think there is anything pompous or spoiled about looking at our sideline during USM, Tulsa, Tulane, Navy and Houston and thinking "what the heck is going on!?!"

I never called anyone a clown Topper, especially players and we quite frankly DON'T accomplish anything on this board anyway as a whole, do we?...it's part of the game unfortunately that you are gonna take barbs from fans, just as PF's be careful how it's presented is my point.
Didn't say you called anyone a clown. That was someone else. I was trying to make the point that the kids shouldn't expect to come to SMU and be called a name. You said "these kids know what happens when you don't perform" and that it is "part of the gig." Maybe I didn't understand what you said.
