And to be honest where they ever really great year in and year out or where they like most teams and once every five years or so the have a really good team.I think SMU has a much brighter future and an easier road to get that future
With USC's low scholarship situation Klemm, Mazzone, and Broussard could do pretty good in the next class. Oregon is the team to beat now.
You look at USC's class? They may have 11 commitments but it's not like they struck out on quality kids. Plus, they came off the two-year bowl ban.
I think you overestimate UCLA's chances.
Don't get me wrong because they have a ways to go. I just said I thought they would do pretty good in the next recruiting class, not great like USC but pretty good. Anyway, we''ll see. They really need a quality QB to run Mazzone's offense.

I grew up in LA. USC has always been the bigger dog in football. I did mostly like ucla, but now despise the bruins. Mora isn't the answer ucla is looking for. Also, an old acronym for ucla is u clowns lost again. Just remember that.
As for Lewis, I don't think he has been jerking SMU around. He committed early, and stuck with it. I have read, and have seen him on LA sports TV only talking up his commit to SMU. Should that change, I will be a bit surprised, but that is the world of the kids in sports today. i would really think he might consider that SMU would offer a good education, but a decent chance for him to get NFL ready. But who knows who might have his ear. Sometimes a kid can be swayed by someone seeming they care about that person, when really they see their own ticket out.
Robert, just look at Sterling, Aldrick, and Emmanuel. Watch Darius, and TT. Margus going from nothing to NFL mention. YOU could be next.
