who cares? I doubt June or Orsini are losing any sleep over your message board judgements.
Apparently you cared enough to post about my statement LOL. Actually I appreciate most of your posts. But since this is a message board we all are allowed to express our viewpoints.

I just wonder just how good some of recruits really are?--getting recruited by the worst program on the West Coast in the very last month of the recruiting year.

Lewis and Marks had plenty of other offers. Oregon, Kentucky, Vanderbilt, Colorado, BC, Iowa, Utah, and Mississipi all thought they were good enough to offer. The interest either wasn't mutual or they filled up, or they are still on them now. These guys are good, we blew it don't kid yourself.
First, what up with all the Lewis to wash. st?? So far, he is still committed to SMU. Should that change, oh well. Pullman stinks and wash. st. will remain a doormat for the rest of the main schools of the pac whatever.
Second, what up with all the hate on JJ and JR. June wants to win, he will get the job done. And Reinbold, yea, who would want a coach working on and covering the NFL. Recruits would hate that. No kid would want a coach out of touch. I mean, our last two star receivers are in the NFL, and that is pretty bad. I don't understand Marks choosing wsu. Should Lewis follow suit, I'll remain perplexed. Leach will not ignite wsu. Even U Clowns Lost Again beat them.

Go Ponies!
You obviously don't have a rivals subscription, we know things you don't know. You are right it makes total sense to have our head coach watching golf tourneys in hawaii and what is now our best recruiter cover nfl games in europe right in the heat of recruiting season. I used to drink the kool aid too, it just isnt tasting as good these days.

You are obviously too cool. I wish I could be as IN as you. Yep, don't have subscription to rivals or scout. But I have spent more time in CA than you as of late. As I have finally gone back to look, and make some calls, yes, YOU are right. Looks like Lewis has decommited. Shame.
Yea, uh, NFL Europe?? No. JR is a guest commentator on Sky Sports, and has been for a while. Yea, a recruit wouldn't want to know that his coach is insightful, and connected. Yea, that really stinks. I somehow don't think he is off just forgetting all about his duties for SMU. It was DEAD PERIOD until the 12th. JR was at the AFCA convention through the 11th. Gee, he sure is an idiot for enhancing his contacts and status. Whatever, haters are gonna hate.
Sorry meant for Europe not in Europe. I don't really care what jj and jr are doing, fact is our former recruits are partying it up in Pullman while our coaches are taking the weekend off from SMU in the heat of recruiting season. There is absolutely nothing you can say to me that will make me believe that this is a good idea We are lucky the jc safety didn't have any other offers otherwise he would of thought we were insane to have him take an official on a weekend where our HC is MIA. I would have wondered if he is off Interviewing for another job. I am curious what coaches were here for that. We told another recruit he couldn't visit this weekend. We have 8-9 spots to fill and we are working on our sun tan and our european broadcasting career. Makes no sense to me. I thought he seemed reenergized after ASU fiasco but not sure now. One thing is certain June gonna do what June wanna do.
I was also hoping that maybe the JP hire would generate some recruits- ala AK. So far, nothing to speak of. Kind of embarrassing when you get butt-whipped by la tech. on the recruiting front. Seems like JJ has a 'short-timers' attitude.
First, these players have had their official visits to SMU, yes or no? It is not uncommon for recruits to use up their visits right before national signing day even when committed. Why not get wined and dined everywhere you can. Why not have some hot chicks cling to you, (not paid hookers of course) and if nature takes its course, bonus? We apparently have our recruits lined up and ready, JJ and JR can of course use the phone, I suspect that the personal visits are not permitted right now if they've already hit that quota for each committed recruit. Also, I suspect there are back-up committments out there, if we lose one or two. Play golf, make 20 calls, am I missing something?
16 days until national signing day, we have 7-10 spots to fill. There has been nothing out there indicating that anyone is close to committing to us and we are our trying not to get salt water in our eyes and working on our exposure in France. We can't even fit in home visits for each recruit into that tight of a window. I can't believe anyone thinks JJ being in Hawaii right now is a good idea.
