Yawn! He would be better than the coaches at UTSA, UTA, or NTSU? Looks like we're paying "Doh" type money as we head into the Big East. Can't wait to hear Orsini tell us the goal is "Top 25" when once again, we aren't bringing in a "Top 25" type of coach.

One of the search committee members did say he thought the process would be easier than what is actually happening. He thought the increased salary, strong monetary-based incentives, Moody facility upgrade, and Big East change, etc. would be more appealing to some of the targeted HC candidates. I got the sense they are not panicking, instead expectations are being lowered.

Then we should have found a better search committee that isn't so out of touch!

Hopefully we hire a coach with at least some NCAA tournament experience as a head coach.

Says he was interviewed last week in New Orleans - seems like if he was our man we would have pulled the trigger by now, unless he is the fallback and we've exhausted all other options.

Could mean that they are talking with many people and the a few names are slipping out. It seems this is similar to Football HC hire, little info and much speculation. My guess is that total picture won't ever be known, which I like. Like most, I want to process to end but know it is a process.
