Although, I wish more coaches acted like him. Makes the game even more entertaining

Why are you such an apologist for this guy. Is he your cousin?

Since I'm a bit of an "apologist" for him as well (although I'm not sure what there is to apologize for), I'll answer this. There are a lot of aging coaches out there that we'll be missing in not too many more seasons and Josh seems like the kind of guy that'll be fun to watch for a long time. Nobody has to agree, of course, but it seems like a few others do.

Does anyone stay at one school that long anymore? If he stays at Memphis for that long I'll guarantee he has more wins.

Anyone want to bet? We can settle up in around 25 years. FTHP?

X/O knowledge is virtually nonexistent. Though I must admit that he is entertaining on the sidelines

Yeah, I got in trouble with Mrs. 2nL when I laughed at that.

is that in reference to his transfer player, or something else?

I didn't even catch on if it was directed against a specific player or not. But wow, if one of their players had a sexual assault charge against him, and we did that, it's pretty far. Really freaking funny, but far.

Maybe I'm just a huge [deleted] but I think it's fair game if it's a legitimate accusation. (Cue Todd Akin "legitimate rape" jokes)

As a coach I'd kick someone off the team for something like that

Michael Dixon cleared by NCAA

The NCAA has cleared Memphis guard Michael Dixon Jr. to play this season.

The 6-foot-2 guard, who sat out last season at Missouri after being accused of sexual assault, will give coach Josh Pastner and the Tigers a huge lift. No criminal charges were filed against Dixon.

"We're so thankful to Josh Pastner and Memphis with everything they've done," Dixon's father, Michael Dixon Sr., told ESPN.com. "We're also thankful to the fans at Missouri. It's just a blessing he's able to play this season.

"Dixon averaged 13.5 points and 3.3 assists two seasons ago as the sixth-man for a Missouri team that wound up earning a No. 2 seed in the NCAA tournament. He enrolled at Memphis this summer and was uncertain whether he'd be able to play this season or have to sit and be eligible for the Tigers in 2014-15. He has one year of eligibility remaining.

Dixon will join a group that already has three senior guards -- Joe Jackson, Chris Crawford and Geron Johnson.

"Michael brings a wealth of experience and basketball savvy to this year's squad," Pastner said in a statement released by the school. "He will have to continue to work hard both on and off the court to earn his playing time with the Tigers, but I have every confidence that Michael understands his position and stance with the university.
