First of all, I said as long as he doesn't get in any trouble so take your Moss, Sprewell, and Henderson examples away. Maybe you need to read what is posted before replying.GoRedGoBlue wrote:Yeah, you'd just love to have a ton of Randy Moss's on the team, sprinkle in some Latrell Sprewells, and throw in some coke lovin' Hollywood Hendersons.
No distruptions. No distractions to the team, because they are all excellent players.
DISCLAIMER: I am not saying that Bill Foran is anything like this, I am just countering the above posted few comments. From what I heard, Mr. Foran is a very nice, intelligent young man. I only heard that he was less than humble during his recruiting process.
The main point is, what position would he play at SMU to afford a scholarship? RB? We all know that he isn't going to play QB at SMU, which is what HE wants to play.
Therefore, I doubt he will come to SMU, and I doubt there is a position that he makes us better at.
Second, many successful athletes have attitudes. Often times, that is what makes them great. So he was less than humble during his recruiting process? Who cares. Humble him on the field if he isn't already humbled because he's having to transfer.
Third, what do you have against this guy. We act like we're loaded at QB and RB. I agree there is talent, but where have you guys been the last two years? We won zero games last year. We're not loaded anywhere. Especially since most of those guys haven't played a single down, and you act like we're stacked.
If the guy can play QB or RB, great, he beat someone out. I'm all for adding as many athletes to this team as possible. If he's talented, we'll find a spot. WR, S, maybe he can be a special teams ace. We're in no position to turn away FOOTBALL players.
