Navy will annihilate us and any team that has a decent run offense. Obviously things turned for us when ECU switch to the strong run game with the good running QB.

I can't remember an SMU player ever being ejected for targeting before.

we are likely going to see more targeting ejections; when guys go to put a hit on the ball and offensive player ducks preparing for contact, they are going to occur. Maybe not intentionally, but it is tough to take the physicality out of the game

Wi th all of these sacks it makes you wonder if Chad Morris has ever heard of a screen pass? Been complaining about that for 2 weeks..he's done nothing to take pressure off the QB in the passing game

We saw plenty of them in the Baylor game, he must have forgotten that they're in the playbook.

Appears to me that Davis is not making any reads and staring down his receiver. In this last quarter he has had many guys open in the middle of the field and never looks at them. I put a lot of concern on Davis for not doing many of the things necessary to be an effective QB. Reads are non-existent, fails to throw the ball away, not very accurate in his passing and out of sync. He did not improve his game today.

Sounds like vintage Matt Davis.
