Badmouth the quality of the teams we've beaten all you want, Stallion, but there have been plenty of years in which we didn't beat those teams. This year, we not only beat them, but in two of the three wins we beat them so badly that they quit on the field. We can only beat who we play, and for three straight weeks now -- and six of the last eight -- we've won. That's improvement, no matter how you look at it.
"What kind of weirdo school are they running over there in Fort Worth?"

No but how much did his best friend, Bobby Lane get to play for UT? SMU and the rest of the conference was paying players long before Craig James came along.
Doak Walker served in the military during WWII along with numerous other SWC greats. But Bobby Layne took drugs to increase his blood pressure so that he wouldn't have to serve in the military.

Are you now saying that Doak Walker was paid to play for SMU?
I believe its on record that SMU started to pay players in the Mid-to-Late 70's and continued its paying ways into the era of the mustang express until E.D. told the NCAA what was going on when he didnt get more money.

What record are you referring to, because the end had nothing to do with Dickerson.

Excuse me??? Despite the Reggie Bush scandel (which has been blown out of proportion by the sports media's [deleted] step-child known as Yahoo sports), there's no way you can compare what SMU did to anything USC has recently done. I don't know about any other programs, but "out of control"? Please Mr Mexi...

I know, I know...everyone (obviously) has their own opinion about this. PM me if you want to bi*ch me out about how wrong I am...

As far as CJ, what a d*ck. Keep your mouth shut about SMU - no one has asked your opinion about the program so just eat one, buddy.
GO MUSTANGS!

FIGHT ON!
