The man has a history of uncontrolled rage and physical violence. Anyone who hires him is keeping a dog that is known to bite off the leash and is open to lawsuits when he snaps again. It is ridiculous to think that SMU would even think of trying to lure the egomaniac out of retirement. But he is a great tv analyst and oh my God the man could coach.
first of all, hello everyone. I have been listening to yall's convos / banter (whatever you want to call it) for the past year+. obviously I agree with some things and some I don't.

Well...Brown has said he is interested in the job (or so it has been reported). What about Knight...has he indicated any interest at all in the job. We have already offered a bunch of coaches who obviously were not interested. Are you suggesting we go after Knight who has not indicated even a slight interest (that I am aware of)?
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.
