Tech has to be a brutal place to recruit BB players to.
1) As big state schools go, it is fifth best behind Texas, TAMU, OU, and OSU in terms of academics.
2) It is literally in the middle of nowhere. For an inner city kid, it actually makes Waco look like a better place to hang out.
3) It may have the worst weather in Texas.
4) In the Big 12, most of the other teams had better basketball history.
Among the former SWC schools, it would be my last choice to send my child to.
