Scratch that, sorry. I was thinking of four FBS games, not neccesarily BCS. Fewer of those.
My argument has nothing to do with what BCS teams we have beaten or lost to.LA_Mustang wrote:Muppets?? really? Your argument would hold water if we had beaten any BCS teams in the JJ era other than Washington St, Worst team in D1, and Pitt. Not only have we lost to the others, we were blown out by all of them. After we lose to A&M, Tech and TCU by 2 TDs, please have an excuse ready.Mustangsabu wrote:I don't get it. There isn't a school in the nation that plays four BCS non conference games. Oh my God! We are running from Baylor??!!! Nonsense. We are playing arguably the best team in the country at their place and we decided to downgrade another game to allow for one, i say again, one game next year not against a BCS opponent. This board is chock full of muppets.
I haven't looked at 2013 schedules (which aren't complete), but at least one school played four BCS non-conference games in 2012. Syracuse played Northwestern, USC, Minnesota and Missouri.Mustangsabu wrote:I don't get it. There isn't a school in the nation that plays four BCS non conference games.
I guess we couldn't schedule Grambling.ReedFrawg wrote:Why pick a school from Montana? Plenty of less competitive options a lot closer to home...were they the only school that could work with the scheduling constraints??? Makes no sense.
