To be fare, the offense did average around 37 points a game the last seven games of the season. I know the teams they beat were not very good but at least the offense was scoring points. I have been just as hard of a critic of JJ as anyone on this board but I give him credit, the offense did open up once he let G2 start running. Hopefully that will carry over into this fall.
I'm pretty sure there was a substantial number of Defensive TDs to add to that number. More accurately SMU averaged 37 ppg in last 7 games. 4 Defensive Tds against UH and 3 against Fresno-haven't checked other games

Actually, there were only 2 against Fresno at the end of the game with the offense not involved, plus a safety. Hoping the Defense can do more of that this year. The pressure is on that first game. Win and it may well set the tone for a fine season.
