I'm sure my memory is blocked, but what's an example of him taking the "low road" regarding SMU?

This is so sad.

At least with Bennett I felt like he was trying, just not capable.

Whatever the case, I'm calling for a bowl game

Dude, he's not a program turner. He basically did it once. You know he only won 2 WAC titles right?

Btw B12, I know you posted in another thread with this article that I was meant to positive. For the record, Adam, the author, has been a friend of mine for several years, it was not meant to be positive at all. Every local HS coach he's talked to think June either doesn't get or more likely just doesn't care. FWIW

I have to question him as a tinkerer. Real question not rhetorical: what has he developed that didn't come from Mouse Davis?

Yeah, but where did Mouse Davis ever win besides 1-AA Portland St. where he was 41-24 in six seasons?

Following the pattern of what he did at Hawaii, I predicted five and seven last year, actually. Check out what happens at Hawaii after five and seven. I'm not going there, 11 wins or anything. But I am predicting a bowl game in 2014

That's BS. I remember you predicting at least seven wins. I think you'd predict a bowl game for JJ in every season regardless of the circumstances. You are full of crap

Only after Larry sent him a tape of him coaching a game.

Haha. There are plenty of links showing I'm full of crap. But I don't believe I made a public prediction last year. Being a "cheerleader", I tend to keep opinions to myself that are not supportive of what SMU's teams are trying to do. I believe it to be counter-productive.

"June got us Larry" is somehow at the same time both a gross oversimplification and a gross overstatement of the facts.
