Re: Gutless -- Typical SMU
I don't know enough about the class next year, but they will be the ones who have to support the program while the scholarship sanctions kick in. I don't like any of this but I think there is a chance this is better in the long term.

I don't think the AAC tourney counts as "post season" as everyone qualifies for it. But I'm speaking from complete ignorance.

I had "heard" it is the AAC's discretion...

AAC can ban us from the tournament since if we won it we would be blocking a team from getting an autobid to the NCAA tournament.

We'll have to agree to disagree on that one.

Re: Gutless -- Typical SMU
I would expect the AAC to ban SMU from it's post season tourney. Why risk our winning the tourney and messing with the AAC's auto bid? Need to dominate the regular season and leave no doubt about who has/had the best team in the AAC.

I will now stroke a $10,000 check for the Knights commission.
All hail the cerebral.
What did you think they were going to do.
Polar opposites

Other than me and about 20 other SMU fans I don't know anyone besides Stallion who goes to games even when we are losing

Would you please name the other 18
I remember when Stallion said there's no reason to buy season tickets to basketball - maybe he was right
