So we want a poor school with the biggest a-hole coach in America, at a terrible commuter school, in the worst city in a low-population state because they've been the tallest midget in the circus for a few years? Got it. You always keep me straight Mr. Ydel!
Ydel has never been a name.

Yeah. I was. People have made that declaration before. Didn't catch the sarcasm.

cMF is right, Marshall is a horrible guy or at least abnormally quirky to the point being unlikable. That said, what do people want? This has the potential to be a far better hoops conference than fball, but the upper eschelon needs bolstering, add bids etc. People can argue dumb junk like markets, of which no one in the AAC truly delivers one. Or, we can just be happy the quality of ball improbpved in league. It's a program that spends on hoops, Marshall or not. They are Koch funded. It's also a full arena.
Now,,no way they roll next years AAC, even w full roster back. I don't buy any of that noise lol

I just remember WSU and Kelly Peete knocking a talented SMU team out of the tournament back in the 60's when I thought we had enough talent to make a deep run. I've always looked at them as a Tulsa like bball program

Kelly Pete and Stallworth took them to the Final Four in '64.

Being one of the few to have actually played against Wichita State in Wichita, I can't truly say I do to look forward to that road trip.

How are some ppl knocking adding WSU to our conference? Even if they revert to an extent, they will still lift up the overall conference RPI.

The only one I see is one Kansas fan acting like a Kansas snob acting "too cool" to the local upstart. Its going to be a unanimous vote for expansion

Oh I forgot, Stallion, you're the only entitled to an opinion. Thanks for the reminder.
Carry on. I think UMKC wants to join too.
