I'd like to see these officials call a Cincy rock fight-its the style of officiating-calling everything inside

Body language says our guys have now officially quit after Mike chucked up that air ball. Guys are 3-20 from three tonight. With no low post scoring threat, this team pretty much lives and dies by the three and tonight they can't hit the wall.

Despite the lousy officiating we did nothing to deserve a W tonight.

Our defense has been horrible the entire game....

Hard to beat a disciplined physical team on the road with our ragtag style.

Have to hope we can beat UConn in Moody because it sure looks like road wins are going to be difficult to come by in AAC play. I still think we are going to see a lot of teams in the 10-8 to 8-10 range and expect we are going to be one of them before season's end.

Re: SMU @ UConn Game Thread
Not going to beat anybody when you hit 3-23 threes while the opponent hits 9-19. I actually built some hope when we were down 7 and UConn missed a FT which could have lead to our cutting the lead to 5 or even to 4 with 5-6 minutes left...but UConn rebounds their own missed FT and before you knew it the lead was double digits again. UConn grabbed the rebound of their own missed FT 3 times in that 2nd half. Just aren't going to win very often when you allow that to happen on top of throwing up bricks from 3 point range all night...and most were good looks if not wide open looks!

ThatΓÇÖs it in a nutshell.
Charg with another disappearing act, Mike and most importantly McMurray off from the 3pt range almost guarantees a loss.
WasnΓÇÖt that impressed with the Huskies and that crowd was hardly Magic. I still say a quality opponent in a hostile environment will totally expose this team.

Re: SMU @ UConn Game Thread
SMU finishes with 8 assists on 23 made FGs tonight. Pretty poor but due in large part to all the missed threes because several of those misses were set up as really good looks by "could have been" assists. Still an ugly offensive performance with 8 assists vs 9 turnovers tonight. We did shoot lights out from the FT line hitting 15-16 so I suppose the score could have been even more lopsided than it was.

That one is in Moody where we just might surprise. Never know when this team is going to get hot and make 50% of it's threes because like it or not, that is Jank basketball compared to the way Larry Brown coached this team.

Temple is a good team. They could expose SMU as well.
