15th Stanford player to enter transfer portal-RB Trevor Spreights and he's the 3rd from Texas-all 3 from the same class so they are probably best friends with their Texas roots. Also some extensive quotes from Michael Williams concerning the reasons. All three of these kids are high academics probably looking for another reputable institution at coincidentally the major positions of need. Sounds like a good fit since Williams mom always wanted him at SMU, the CB Eboh has a sister on the SMU soccer team and we need a RB. All 3 were very high 3 stars or 4 stars out of high school (.88 or higher). Need a package deal
Reading the article, it sounds like there is a chance they could end up accepted to the grad program, so they are just putting their name in the portal just in case.

Does the RB fit our offense? I know Stanford moved to a passing offense last year, apparently about the time this guy started getting less carries. Is he built for a spread offense?

SMU sophomore safety Treveon Johnson has entered the transfer portal, per a source. He played 17 games over the last two seasons, and made 3 catches as a receiver his freshman year. Was a 4-star recruit by ESPN out of high school. https://twitter.com/SamBlum3/status/1224788603030638592
Yeah I saw that but weΓÇÖre sitting on a highly regarded Alabama transfer who has already been with the program a year and a successful pass catching TE on the other side. How would we start/work this kid in when heΓÇÖs no doubt going to want to play and is immediately eligible?
