Here's one SMU really might have a shot at- 4 star Stanford DT Michael Williams from Ft. Worth All-Saints has just entered the Transfer Portal. SMU was all over him early a few years ago but he had too many national offers. I'm pretty sure he visited SMU on numerous occasions unofficially with his teammate J.C. Rispress. Plus his mom wanted him to go to SMU

Started in all 25 games in 2018-19. Played in all 38 games during past 3 years
