so true; it's just not in his personality to be a cheerleader but I've seen plenty of coaches with fire in their bellies "work the crowd" and tell them in the aftermath how important they are to the team. Dabo Swinney is one of those guys at Clemson...of course they enjoy about 5 times the fan support that we do because of the very different culture at the two schools, but I think you are right in drawing the comparison to recruiting
