I'm in for Rick, and I grew up a UCLA fan and still consider myself one (behind SMU of course). Let me say this about him, he is a relentless recruiter and one of the most passionate and energetic people out there.
He got absolutely SCREWED by having Dan Guerrero force Norm Chow down his throat as an OC. The man could not hire his own staff, and got the pistol offense forced on him. I know he has his flaws, but if there is one guy that I think could create some buzz around Dallas it's him. He didn't have success, but he caused a huge stir in LA by challenging SC head on and going after them early in the season in the media. Just the kind of buzz marketing we need in my opinion.
Can you imagine Nick calling out Fatterson, I'd love that. For what it's worth, he played a round of golf with some SMU board members at Bel Air CC a while back, but I don't see it as a possibility at this point.

at least rick tried to make UCLA relevant when USC had been crushing them for a decade
it's a side step with him, he's lost all his shine and he probably wouldnt take us anywhere
