I still think a flat/matte gray (not silver) helmet with this jersey and pant combo would look sharp.
I know the helmet above only looks gray due to the lighting in the superdome, but i still think it looks pretty cool.
Do not mess up the best helmet in football. I'd prefer to leave the white helmet alone, but if we were going to do matte, keep it white. But like I stated, better to stop messing with it (i.e. get back to the old wider stripes and stop messing with it)

Good point; however, as long as we stay with our 'tradition' in our retro unis along with some common sense (which appears to not be so common now days), we should be OK.
