Touch your toes frat boy.

Rankings come out after signing day in February. Morris & crew are working hard, but who cares about how we're doing compared to 25 years ago, or compared to June. That bar is extremely low, and the AAC has upped it's game overall. The only thing that really matters is how we're doing compared to our conference mates. If Stallion's theory is true, that recruiting is one of the best indicators of future success (I agree by the way), the primary way we challenge for the #1 spot in the AAC, is to be in the top 1 or 2 in AAC recruiting, correct?

It's not rocket science. Now stop all of the whining and hating, quit with the excuses and justifications, tone down the confirmation bias, and let's see where we end up in February.

Can't be easy to recruit to Albuquerque, yikes. My mom's side of the family is from there and I have spent a lot of time there.

Okay, replace New Mexico with Hawaii and ULM.

3 out of 4 commits have P5 offers and you throw out that data is "useless"?

That is special. Never change.

Memphis and ECU do not have high academic standards and can get players that others can't.
What are SMU's standards in terms of football players? Naturally, a national top 60 university is going to attract some more serious student-athletes but aren't many of the top recruited athletes admission exceptions? Keith Frazier?

No, not many. But as I said Houston should be able have top G5 classes every year because it is a school with low academic standards in the middle of a recruiting hotbed.

let's talk about this after we find out which players qualify under new NCAA standards and which ones are required to take a mandatory freshman redshirt. UH lost a bunch off their top signees last year and they are now in JUCO. UH is one of the big reasons I started that decommitment list. Under the new standards SMU is not at a significant competitive disadvantage-if at all. Its a new playing field in 2016-you need to read and understand the new NCAA admission standards
"With a quarter of a tank of gas, we can get everything we need right here in DFW." -SMU Head Coach Chad Morris

When momentum starts rolling downhill in recruiting-WATCH OUT.
