Amazing that these trolls can say anything negative about one of the best backs smu had ever had. Spin it anyway you want or need to but zach is a proven in the record books and KC is not. These two shouldn't even be discussed in the thread. If KC were all that then why is he still the #3 guy in the rotation. Give it a rest KC family members, he seems like a nice kid who had a couple decent runs (against a D1AA as you referenced) school

I am not a KC family member not troll. I have posted here for years as an SMU fan. Are you a Line family member?

If he started and got the carries yes he could imo. For the record I saw Dupard and James play and I don't think Zach nor KC are better than either of those 2 regardless of the stats. I think Zach was a fullback playing halfback and the NFL has him at his true position where I believe he will do well for many years.
Whatever the staff did with Zach worked. Agreed with you and Stallion that's he's a true fullback, though.
So I'm trying not to be sarcastic. But it's going to come out that way, sorry. We've had this stud running back in K.C. who if only given the carries would find himself either number one or number two in the SMU all time record books for runners? I'm not sure I've seen enough of him personally to make that determination. But wow.
I said could not would but you never know until given the opportunity. Same could be said about the transition from Shawnbrey to Zach. Given the o line that Shawnbrey and Zach had I think KC has the potential to be a combination of the two imo.

Zach was an inspirational player, never taking a snap off. If we had a team full of Zach Lines we'd be a top 25 team no doubt.
And having said that, we need to give KC 30% or so of snaps even if Shead is healthy and doing well. He seems to be a complete back to me. We need playmakers on the field. He seems to be one. Of all the backs, he's shown the most so far IMHO (and we have a very limited set of runs to compare them all to . . . I just hope they keep giving him some chances to shine).

Hopefully someone here is old enough to get that.
