looked good, should be part of the rotation.
Re: Nice job KC Nlemchi
He looked fairly elusive and was a decent blocker.
That TD run was impressive.
Of course against D1 talent we will see a different picture. But I'll take it.

Sat on the bench for 2 yrs why??

It's one of the things I've waiting to see for a few years now ... just played himself into some serious PT. Looked fast, quick, elusive .. good hands. Stronger version of S-McNeil.
I think blocking and just grasping things has kept him sidelined ... oh and ZL

He would be a killer if we ever broke out a HB screen every once in a while (to subdue blitzing).
They who would give up an essential liberty for temporary security, deserve neither liberty or security

It's a head scratcher. I really like what Mumme has brought to the table. I really like this hurry up look and, other than the O-line play (which has GOT to get fixed - Hughes is not very good . . . not sure why we aren't going with what I thought was the intended rotation of Ashcraft, Gottshalk, Lasecki, Rice, and Weeks? . . . that's a good rotation), we might really start clicking offensively once we get into the conference schedule.

i bet Jones puts line back in. He is weird about RB's blocking - if that is all they do well then they are in there. Its like he never really realized Shambrey saved our butts so many games
Re: Nice job KC Nlemchi
HB screen would be nice to see what he can do with it, or breakout the inside shovel pass they ran a few time with ZL

If you watch his press conference I feel like he alludes to Prescott being the better blocker. Prescott wil start against A&M.gostangs wrote:i bet Jones puts line back in. Re: Nice job KC Nlemchi
yes but, KC played the majority of the second half ... I'd say 85%-90% of the offensive plays. I've got to believe KC will get serious PT going forward .. not suggesting PL will be put on the shelf ... a nice rotation system

Re: Nice job KC Nlemchi
Line was put in on sure passing downs which tells you something. KC missed a block on the first pass play he was in on. But on the last TD drive he did an excellent job of picking up blitzes. Sometimes you need to see the real game at game speed to do what you need to do. I think he and Line can ve another Line/Shawnbrey combo.
