I am an SMU Alum who has had multiple family members graduate from SMU. Recognize that I support our Coach and I support our program. Our team needs a new coach I agree - but I would not trade places with UConn. Hurley is an embarrassment of the utmost degree. He is like an SNL skit of a terrible basketball coach. You are right on target. This guy is a sad imitation of the meaner Bob Knight. I was waiting for
him to throw a chair across Moody at Jason Garret. He almost ran into our cheerleaders during
a time out. He did throw his clipboard down and almost hit his own assistants with it. He was on
the floor more than the officials. He obviously doesn't do much coaching during practices because
he saves it to try to arrange each and every plaayer on the floor during the games. He must have
a great recruiter because I can't see many people wanting to play for him.
