More than a dozen Fort Worth-Dallas radio personalities -- some from the past, some still working -- are among 2004's inductees into the Texas Radio Hall of Fame.
The inductees, announced Tuesday, also include nearly a dozen personalities from elsewhere in the state. Some are on-air personalities. Some are better-known for their programming and management skills. The inductees will be honored at a ceremony Oct. 30 at the Radisson Hill Country Resort and Spa in San Antonio.
Among the new names is Jay Randolph: Former voice of Dallas Cowboys football and Southern Methodist University basketball for KLIF in the 1960s -- and the first play-by-play announcer for the Florida Marlins in the 1990s.
