Has this not been a recurring theme over the past few years? It would be nice to win at least one quarter this season.. but what in the world is going on after halftime!?
1st Quarter = Opp. 17 / SMU 16
2nd Quarter = Opp. 34 / SMU 20
3rd Quarter = Opp. 51 / SMU 7
4th Quarter = Opp. 29 / SMU 21
OT = Opp. 7 / SMU 0

The opponents are making adjustments at halftime and we aren't.

Well actually we did win the first and the second quarters of the game against Hawaii, but your are right on in that we come out for the third quarter in every game looking like we forgot that we were playing a football game. The halftime pep talk in the SMU locker room must be something to behold.

SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.
