What newspapers cover your team most closely? The N.O. Times-Picayune? Is there a paper in Ruston with a link? A Shreveport paper? Student newspaper?

Got website address for any of them?

Thanks.

Much like you guys do here, our administrators try to post the stories and columns on the front page of our fan board: LaTechBBB.com. The main papers which cover the Tech Bulldogs are the Monroe News-Star and The Shreveport Times.

You guys are welcome at our board. Be warned, though, much like things are here, tough times the past two years have turned many of our posters into real grumps. You'll see some predictions which appear ridiculous, too. We've got many that want a new coach, many that want a new athletic director. We've got some that get mad if you don't predict we will win every game, and we've got some that wish we would lose every game so we can hurry up and get a new coach.

I'm sure you might find it sort of entertaining, and a welcome relief from your own problems.

As for me, I look forward to spending some time on your Boulevard Saturday, then seeing what should be a good game. I predict my team will win, because I saw us win easily last season. But I also predict a close game, and know you guys might pull it out because you certainly did so last time we came to Dallas.

Thanks, LT77 - look for us on The Boulevard (we can be found lurking around the Special Delivery tent). Here's to a good game (and of course, a win for the Ponies!)

Diamond, I am eligible for the alumni band at Tech, but don't want everybody covering their ears. My euphonium pretty much stays in its case.
