...cool, it looks like at least 4-8 people will be there........question? What is the status / deal with the NCAA attendance requirements? Where does this stand?
As I understand it, a Div-1A institution has to have an average home attendance of 15,000 or go into limbo for one year to try to comply...otherwise you are dropped down to Div-1AA. However, I keep reading articles from reporters saying that the whole attendance thing is being re-looked at...so who knows. The rules as stated on the NCAA site doesn't indicate any posible change so I'm not holding my breath. Mean while we will continue to try to meet that minimum and go with the flow. This year should not be a problem, but we need to win some games to get the momentum headed in the right direction for next year.
Through two home games, we're averaging 26,233 fans.
To dip below the 15,000 requirement, the crowd in the remaining three games would have to average 7,509 per game in the final three home games. No worries.
BUS-less and Mini will be there along with friends. I have about 8 to 10 meeting for tailgate and then the game. Still waiting to hear back from 4 more.
GO MUSTANGS
Push the Bandwagon, Pull the Bandwagon or Play on the Bandwagon but don't steer it into a ditch. BE POSITIVE. Alert yes, offer ways to improve but don't just gripe.
The attendance figures are for actual people in attendance. That means that they actually count all of the torn ticket stubs after each game. That is the actual attendance, not ticket sales.
So here is the plan. If you can not attend a game, give your tickets to someone who is going. Then they enter the gates, get their tickets torn, then go outside and reenter and get your tickets torn.
White Helmet will be there with the usual 65-70 screaming pony fans. Hope to see effort against La Tech, and we should see better defensive results. ya know they are going to run but at least now we know which
guy will have the ball, damn option. On the other side of the ball who knows, just pick a QB and let them play, I dont even care which one.
