OK, I know this is a Tech broadcast, but who's the corncob handling the color commentary? He sounds like a student who got lost and accidentally fell headfirst between a headset.
Rise up, Mustang Nation!

"Jon is dominating in the paint he has 16 points on 8/10 shooting while having a 2.3459659 assist to turnover ratio, i'm not sure if smu has scored in the game yet."

"We really need to get ourselves in the game. We are only up OHHHHH LOOK AT THE JAM BY C-Money, he just took the ball from EEESHAM. Wow, We are awesome!"

and then apparently a tip in is worth a top 10 play on espn.

This was the Texas Tech basketball network. By the way, when Shumate was coach and early in Dement's tenure we would have several games on 52 (or it's equivalent). Needless to say, that has gone by the wayside.

You remember the old now-out-of-work sports broadcaster at Channel 8, dont' you? That's him on the Texas Tech network. Last I heard he was doing a radio gig in Lubbock. He also does the Tech TV broadcasts, and apparently has been given carte-blanche on all homerisms regarding Tech's play.
Too bad we gave him too much to talk about. I don't know who the color guy was - probably a redshirt senior in the graduate communications program.
