Worst attendance ever!!!

I am sickened by the fact that there was as few people last nihgt at the Texas State game as I have ever seen in four years as an SMU fan. There was definelty not 2000 people in the stands and it was by far the worst turnout I have ever seen. If it was this bad during school, wait a week util the student body goes on vacation!!! I am so disappointed I cannot even express it in this post, becasue we liek to blame the students but where is the support of everyone else. There are too may alumni and people close to the prgram in the Dallas area to let this happen, and I guess it shows the true side of most Mustang fans.

Weel I was at the Mavericks game and I think among that, the HS playoff games, and College Football games...alot of people were occupied...

Southlake Carroll, and Denton Ryan probably pulled a lot of people away who couldn't go to 2 sporting events in 1 day.

I would have been there with my son but he was playing his first basketball game. Nothing like watching 6 year olds play basketball. In 24 minutes of action the 2 teams put up 21 points. I was expecting something like 4.

I have been to every game this season and the SMU attendance has been appalling. At the Texas State and Okie State games there seened to be more fans from those schools than SMU. I will never understand why people buy multiple season tickets and never use them. If the majority of alums and students are not going to support the athletic programs then why bother to have them at the Div 1 level. At the very least, we should average 5000 SMU fans at every BB game.
