This has got to be a prank. News coming on Monday, it is now Wednesday 12:30 pm. I really think that ponyfans have been had.

We are so desperate for good news that someone can post a message like this and get almost 100 replies.

I believe this may be the most "views" ever. As pointed out, Burger Wars has more posts, but not close to as many views.

I believe there is an announcement of major significance immanent, but I doubt everyone will view it as "Great News". Rather, I think it will be considered quite controversial. Stay Tuned!

I got it! (Turner signed off on this, by the way!) Unknownst to millions, Bennett has been visiting Huntsville State Pen on the sly, and got an oral from a 24-year-old, 6-3, 240 lb. (4.5) 4-star LB who will be paroled in January. He had originally committed to Bennett at Oklahoma in 1998 before robbing a liquor store.

Bill Parcells has decided that he likes the Dallas area, and when his contract is up with the Cowboys, he is going to take the SMU job. I believe his contract expires the same time as Phil's.

I wonder if its something like Vandy did a few years ago such as reorganizing and technically doing away with the athletic department. If its that kind of window dressing, it certainly won't constitute good news unless there is a way to fund some new degree programs as a result.

I got my money on Copeland being gone. Controversal for obvious reasons. If not that, then I say renovations to Moody. People seem split on the new arena vs. renovation, thus the controversy.

No, it is "good news for football". Copeland gone would be (arguably) good news for athletics, not football per se. Renovating Moody is relevant to football. So what is it? Or was it? Ow will it be?
