How to beat UNC next week

It's easy —— get Matt Doherty to coach the football team. Opening the season with back-to-back home losses to Hampton and Davidson is not the way to endear himself to Tar Heel Nation. Being a Carolina grad doesn't automatically make you a good coach.

Only problem: The football team still has a player or two the basketball team does not.

I'm hoping the Mustangs can eat a tarheel sandwich - 86 the peppers (pun intended).

I guess the revenue SMU could get from actually playing this meaningless game on Dec 1 would pay for one of those buyout years?
