SMU is an underdog for our conference opener against Rice.
Rice is 5-0 at home and played @ UConn to just a 9 pt loss.

My prediction:

SMU 77 Rice 72

Then we'll destroy Tulsa in 2005.

I'll offer my preemptive condolences on the Red Raiders.

Does Rice still have that Harris guy? He was amazing when I saw him a couple years ago.

If they only lost by 9 to UConn, this is a seriously tough matchup.

This will be interesting to see which team shows up. Good to see the boys playing better but that was against less than stellar competition. There is no telling what will happen....the TCU/Tech team or the more confident team? Harris will be very tough to defend.

Let's hope Hopkins continues his good stuff.
