both teams decimated by injuries to key players.and their respective records show.

Hope SMU can get our players back before the WAC tourney.

I think we would have won a few games but I am not sure the record would be much different actually.

No, none really. They're good, we're not.
The attitude dictates that you don't care whether she comes, stays, lays, or prays. I mean whatever happens, your toes are still tappin'. Now when you got that, then you have the attitude.

Actually they aren't very good. We are worse though. Without a miracle finish, this has been a big disappointment to me. I really thought having 2 22 year olds in the paint and 2 other 2 year starters thqat we would surprise some people. I seem to be the only one we surprised.

OP, my impression from what you have posted is that you don't get to see this team play very often from where you live. You probably see the stats that our 2 senior big men put up and think that they have some talent and they do. What I have accepted and the reason I am not surprised by this teams record, is that this team is flawed as a group in some key areas. Its no one players fault, but the sum of the parts is not as good as the parts individually. Specifically, we have no defensive presense in the post, none. We have noboby who can get the critical rebound when we have to have it. We don't jump shoot well as a group. Simpson and Hopkins can heat up, but we don't have any pure shooters on the roster...maybe Brian Miller but he hasnt been healthy in forever. This team is what it is, a good group of kids and some decent individual players who play well together but just don't have all the pieces needed to finish off wins against other good teams. Thats my 2 cents.
