USA Today on Bush Library

Post by RE Tycoon »

I haven't seen this article posted yet.

There is one new quote in this article that might be telling. A classic Bush slip-up? It might be a good indication that SMU will get it.

In the interview, Bush tried to avoid being pinned down on the location of his post-presidential residence. "Crawford plus — I suspect close to the library, wherever it might be," he said, then added, "Now, that shouldn't — if the library is in Waco, then obviously, Crawford is close to the library."

Huh? Typical Bush-speak. Once again, he's speaking without a script!

Not that a script would help, anyway.
