Now Tulsa is up, 9-7, and has the ball on the OU 2-yard line.
Can you imagine OU losing consecutive HOME games against TCU and Tulsa? Sure wouldn't want to be a Sooner player at practice Monday.
Tulsa gets TD-called back on questionable 7 man on line of scrimmage call. Tulsa's Jarrett Mills catches down to 1-the scores another TOUCHDOWN TULSA!!!!!! Missed 2 point conversion now 17-15. Did I hear right that Mills now has 12 catches and he's been fighting a cramp for his last 4 or so.
OU obviously is not the team they have been the past few years. However, Tulsa played well enough to beat them today. Tulsa has done a great job the past few years of commiting to play Division 1 football. For instance, they have gone after JUCO players and done well with Divison 1 transfers. SMU has not been able to get those type players consistently because SMU will not take a lot of the transfer hours from other schools. Tulsa also has recruited the DFW area well the last few seasons. It would not suprise me if they have done a better job than SMU in recruiting this area. Stallion may be able to comment on their recruiting better than myself. I am really impressed with their coach. I would trade him for Bennett in a second. I know all of the sunshiners will point out we beat them last year but this coach took them to a bowl game recently. Something we all desire.
