I've heard the same thing. Don't know if there's anything to it, but I heard he's working to get his grades up, and to get a waiver of some kind from the NCAA to get reinstated. And the sources I've gotten this from are pretty reliable sources. They emphasized the fact that this is NOT yet a done deal. But there is a chance. Keep your fingers crossed. Markus is a great guy and a hell of a player. I would love to see him back.

That rumor seems to be picking up steam - I heard that on campus today. I'll ask around some more, to see if I can find out anything.

A friend of mine talked to one of the coaches after Saturday's scrimmage, and said there's a real chance Markus could return. He didn't quote the coach as saying it's GOING to happen, just that Markus is trying to get himself academically eligible.
If he does, what a boost to the defense that would be! We're all pulling for you, Markus.
