Best of luck in conference play...

SMU fans had a pretty good showing and as always you are the amicable fans I remember. You have a good QB and a few solid receivers. I look for the Ponies to win AT LEAST 5 games this year.

Thanks, BeerBus.

I also wanted to mention how cool the Aggie fans were. When one of my friends started to faint from the heat, no fewer than FOUR Aggies went and got cold water. A very classy representation of your school. Your hospitality was greatly appreciated.

Good luck the rest of the way.

I have to concur. The Aggies were probably the friendliest host fans I've encountered. I didn't have anyone say anything rude to me (as happens at TCU and Tech) and the fans I talked to all wished us luck and welcomed us to their stadium.

on TexAgs.com they have a hilarious post which apparently appears every week-they call it Jack-ass of the Week in which they identify the section, row and seat numbers of the biggest Aggie jack-ass of the Week-its very long. The Aggies are like a Fraternity -there is always some jack-ass-usually an immature boy with a lack of self confidence, taking the rigidness of their traditions too far by yelling at old ladies standing on the grass, screaming at people they don't know to "uncover", pulling a sabre on cheerleaders, threatening the Rice Band for a humorous spoof-pulled off against every other SWC school in good humor. Some just take it too far but I'd agree that there are plenty of Aggie fans who exhibit outstanding sportsman-I met several over the weekend. Its just the Jack-asses that perpetually give them a bad name because it does become an almost cult-like or more accurately a fraternal bond which nobody else cares to know about. These type of situations would simply never arise at other campuses. -I applaud those on TexAgs.com that are apparently trying to self regulate these morons.

yeah we definitely have som dumbasses. Its usually the students who get smashed and don't know how to hold their liquor. It amazes me how many drunks we had for a 1130 am game.

I hope all of you had a great time.
