I'm interested in the history of your university. I'm a youngin' and I don't know all the facts. Instead of researching, I figured I get it straight from the horses mouth  I know you used to have a good program and got the Death Penalty which killed your program. I don't know anything about your school other than it being in Dallas, or the level of academics. Please fill me in on some history/facts.

Welcome to CUSA and good luck this season, after Saturday.

Go Pirates!

If you are looking for a little SMU football history, here's something that was put together this past summer to help us countdown to kickoff 2005. Many (especially the old timers) on this board will disagree with this list, but it will give you a little feel for the history of SMU football.

Uh, you may want to check your URL as I don't think that is the type of "football" you intended to lead him toward.

Wow, so SMU was founded by Native Americans but it took over a thousand years to get everything ready for the first students?
