We are horrible, we are unentertaining, and I am disinterested beyond checking the Sunday paper for the score, to see if I'll be pleasantly surprised by the occasional unlikely win. And of course, coming here to offer the occasional pithy comment.
Tulsa will beat us soundly. Why? Tulsa relaxed their recruiting standards and have gone after JUCO and Division 1-A transfers. They have outrecruited SMU in the D/FW area the last few seasons. The talent gap is widening between SMU and Tulsa. The results Saturday will show.

that would be funny if it wasnt so true. Maybe someday SMU will be as committed to winning as Tulsa. They got tired of losing to SMU is my guess and went out and did something about it quickly. Yea, we beat em last year, but they went bowling two years ago and are having a pretty good season now. Laugh if you want but beating UNT 54-2 was damn impressive. When does our school get fed up and make it happen?
