Someone hears McCown's footsteps

Post by SMUguy »

Got this from Pro Football Weekly:

"We hear there's a big difference in the physical condition of many of the Cardinals' players, particularly QB Jake Plummer, who has added noticeable muscle to his upper body and has upped his weight to a rock-solid 212 pounds."
"It's 106 miles to Chicago, we've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses."
...
"Hit it."

Based on the early reports about McCown at Cardinals camp, Plummer had better be working hard. He's not likely to lose his job to Josh this year, but if McCown keeps improving, I could see Plummer being traded in a year or two.

I'll take Plummer in Washington. Until Tulane-ex Patrick Ramsey is ready in a couple of years, we (Redskins fans) are stuck watching Shane Matthews, Sage Rosenfels or Danny Wuerffel - not an exciting prospect. Since Washington and Arizona aren't division rivals anymore, maybe Arizona will trade Plummer to the Skins, freeing up the starting Cardinals QB job for McCown.
