Re: TSN WAC Preview
Dream season because 1) We go to Hawaii. 2) We revenge last year's debacle to LA Tech at home. 3) Awesome non-conference schedule (Navy plus regional matchups).
But I don't see it being particularly easy, especially with some tough competition loaded towards the front of the schedule.
I think Rice is overrated.

Evrything I read is that LaTech and Boise State are the class of the conference. Having not seen either last year .... are they THAT good?
You're right - Rice is overrated. We'll beat them by 20 this year.

Re: TSN WAC Preview
I think Boise State has a good, solid football team, but I think LA Tech is definitely beatable. LA Tech has one hell of an electric offense with baby McCown, but he's missing a couple of receivers that he could rely on last year. I suppose LA Tech's defense should improve, but they have such a long way to go.
The Mustangs made a BUNCH of mistakes against LA Tech that took them out of the game last year. But if you ignored the turnover column, we beat them in just about every other category last year if memory serves.

LaTech also lost a guy, I forget his name, but he was (with apologies to Ruben Moodley) the best safety in the WAC last year. The guy's playing with the Chicago Bears, I think. I also read somewhere that LaTech lost some more talent on defense. They have a lot of speed, and Luke McCown is a star waiting to happen, but they definitely are beatable.
Once a Mustang, ALWAYS a Mustang!
