Latest KSU rumor...Not PB

Post by Duke Blue Blood »

Here is the latest I have read and it seems possible...

It looks as if Jim Leavitt will indeed take the K-State job. Early USF name: Jimbo Fisher...

DBB, as you are normally correct what about Brent Venables. Will you be banging on the glass upstairs next year like SMU football is hockey next year?

Really? Venables interviewed today. Assume most of the K-state staff is not retained, anybody think Bennett brings some of them in?

In other news, there is apparently a press conference at Rice tomorrow. Presumably, Hatfield is retiring.

No, I think he is saying that if the bring in an outsider at K-State, then most of the current coaching staff at K-State will be out the door and Bennett might be getting some new assistants at SMU
The donkey's name is Kiki.

On a side note, anybody need a patent attorney?

Good, Bad...I'm the one with the gun.

Ah, re-read is in order. Please disregard my ignorance, why would we want more KSU people? I am a huge PB fan, just see no help in them.

Whew!! After all of the publicity of this past weekend, I was beginning to believe that it would be possible for KSU to sell Bennett to their alums. I think we need Bennett here for a few more years before his brother or someone else can take over!

However, after this miracle season, I want him here forever. :D

Stay Phil Stay! You can let Rusty go though.

Am I the only one that missed the "Miracle"?

I do want PB here for another season though to see if there is a "Miracle" ahead.

I saw 3 distinct "Miracles" or "Acts of Devine Intervention" at the UTEP game. The Punt bouncing of the helmet and then going straight out of bounds as opposed to straight to the end zone. The Blake Warren muff that maanged to bounce all the way out of bounds. Finally, the fact that Bobby Chase, a man who has made the 2 most improbable touchdown catches in the last 20 years at SMU, gets the ball knocked out of his arms, into the air, and catches the ball in full stride and scores.

If these are not miracles, then what are they?

Isn't that enough to beatify Bennett?

The difference from an ofer season and some wins are those miracles. I was reminded about the Kincade fumble on the goal line that cost us the UTEP game. When you win you get some breaks. When you are losing, everything seems to go the other way.
