commitments

A month ago I was on the same wave as just about everyone else
when asking how can we only have two commitments while other
schools seem to be way ahead of us.HOWEVER,MY thinking has changed
since we won our last 3 games while getting the attention of some
pretty good jc recruits and turning some heads of some high school kids
which would not take a serious look at SMU BEFORE.WITH our coaches
now out on the recruiting trail I feel the momentum we have and with
15 or so schlorships still available gives as a great opportunity to have
strong finish to recruiting and will help us move to the next level.

Definitely. Those three wins can only help, especially coming at the end of the season like they did -- nothing like a little mo (mentum, that is).

several reasons..
the biggest reason is that we have only 17 rides to offer this year..

and juco signing day is this week and we are goin after 8-10 guys.. that leaves us w/ less than 10 HS rides to offer..

this time last year we had only 3 committments and had about 23 rides to offer.. so we are fine in that category.. plus most of our recruits will be the left overs of big 12 schools
