Anyone have an update on the offseason progress?
Injury rehab for Kennedy, etc.?
Strength update?
Potential position changes?

I still think we could see a safety (Bryce Hudman) bulk up to play LB. And it wouldn't surprise me to see a lineman switch sides -- seems to happen every year or two, right?

I agree Hudman would make a great outside linebacker, especially if he bulked up and kept his speed. He has got to be one of the fastest white boys I've ever seen. And he seems to have a natural ability to read a defense without any hesitation. He has the talent and the speed to do just about anything on the field, whether it be making open field tackles or covering the pass. With his size (6' 2'') and speed (4.4), he's got all the makings for an explosive LB. So he might turn out to be a balanced LB that can stuff the run and cover the pass. Not to mention what it says on his player bio. He was one hell of a running back. No question, the kid has God given freakish talent.

That's encouraging. I've heard similar statements about Mapps and Sanders.

Yeah, i think Hudman is pretty good too. And I'm happy to hear that Kennedy is doing good.

So does anyone know if he is moving to LB or not?
A friend who played for the Ponies years ago (and therefore is more of an expert than most of us) called me last season after he'd stopped by practice a few times. He said "you've got to see this guy. He's a redshirt, playing on the scout team .... what an athlete! We never had guys who looked like that, and if we did, they sure as hell never got a chance to redshirt. They started from Day One."
He was talking about Hudman.
