I agree with ShanDtheMan, or whatever his name is. Daniel Francis looked like he had "IT" - that extra sense to know where his defender is, and how to elude them. And he had that one drop when he looked upfield before making the catch, but other than that, he caught everything thrown near him.
Last guy to do that as a freshman, and the guy he kind of reminds me of? Chris Cunningham. I bet their the two best receivers out there next year.

Isn't a little early to be touting a freshman as a go-to guy?
I really shouldn't drink and type.

Chris worked with him this summer and said he is a good listener and learner. He calls him his Protégé. I think he had a very fine first game.

I thought Vinson had the smoothest catch and run of the night. I don't remember the ball being thrown to him more than that one time however.
Inexperienced QB or not, I hope SMU will be more aggressive with the passing game than they were last week. I just once want to see some fly and post routes as opposed to the 7 yard ins and outs. But maybe I'm just a gambling man.

Daniel will score his first college touchdown tomorrow.
And we're coming up to see it - GO MUSTANGS!
