Mustang Airport

Post by couch 'em »

This site http://www.dallashistory.org/history/da ... irport.htm discusses an old airport that was in the area where The Village/Medallion Center (ghetto target) is now. Any of you old fossils old enough to remember this?

Great website.

If Mustang Airport was operational into the 1960's it might have been
fun to have taken a picture of Chuck Hixon and the Mustang receivers in front of the airport sign.

Something from the past to display in Heritage Hall.

The airfield closed prior to 1960. Here is the history.
