Is anyone going anywhere fun in the vacation season (i.e. before football starts back up)?
I'm going to China for two weeks in June.

Um...I'll probably meet my parents for lunch in Ft. Worth....
Water Pony, do you want a companion for your cross counrty ride? I would need some advice on the best way to get in shape for the mountains though. How long are you planning to take?
The donkey's name is Kiki.

I am a guest with a small group. And the mountains should be challenge for me too, since I am a flatlander from Illinois. As for prep, lI am ooking for any, small hills and do 'repeats'! More importantly, I need to get in several thousand miles of riding before July 1st.

Going to the Masters in April.
Will follow around an ancient rock group in May as they tour the US east coast (Depeche Mode) for a week or two.
Vegas in June.
And these are my first vacations in 3 years so I am making up for lost time.

I don't know about the prize. I leave Wednesday the 8th of March to Llano, Tx to see my newest grandchild addition. That's kind of World Cup in my books.

/\ Look me and Thadfilms up while you're in town. We'll treat you to a beer somewhere.
Vacation? What's that? I haven't had a vacation in 3 years.

Vegas 2 more times this year...starting two weeks from now.
Santa Fe Memorial Day weekend.
Estes Park in July.
Of course, only preludes to my trips to New Orleans and Lubbock. And at least three to Dallas...everyone knows when that will be.
